How Not to Treat Your Customers...

Dreamhost has had a billing glitch and has billed hundreds of customers for as much as 2 years in advance, with debits/charges up to $400 in some cases. Mistakes do happen, but check out the only communication Dreamhost has had with its customers: http://status.dreamhost.com - a picture of a guy without a shirt and some snarky comments.

Lesson to be learned: Always treat your customers, clients, fans with the utmost of respect. Never treat them as if their problems are unimportant or worthy of joking about.
